La educación es un derecho fundamental que se debe garantizar a cualquier niño, niña y joven. No se trata solamente de pensar en las oportunidades de ingreso a las instituciones educativas, sino también en cómo las herramientas que estas poseen son óptimas para el desarrollo de las clases y el desenvolvimiento de los estudiantes. Es por eso que se habla de una educación de calidad y equitativa que se ofrece de forma oportuna y para todos, sin distinción alguna; pensando en el aprendiente Sordo, en este caso, como un sujeto bilingüe bicultural, tal como lo propone el Instituto Nacional para Sordos-INSOR. Este trabajo tiene como propósito la creación de una unidad didáctica para la enseñanza-aprendizaje del español escrito a estudiantes Sordo-señantes, teniendo en cuenta los principios fundamentales del Diseño Universal para el Aprendizaje, y de esta manera contribuir con el cierre de la brecha en relación con el material didáctico existente para su aprendizaje.

Education is a fundamental right that must be guaranteed to all children and young people. It is not only a matter of thinking about the opportunities for admission to educational institutions but also about how the tools they have are optimal for the development of classes and the development of students. That is why we speak of a quality and equitable education that is offered in a timely manner and for all, without distinction, thinking of the deaf learner, in this case, as a bilingual bicultural subject, as proposed by Intituto Nacional para Sordos-INSOR. The purpose of this work is the creation of a didactic unit for the teaching-learning of written Spanish to deaf students, taking into account the fundamental principles of the Universal Design for Learning, and in this way contributing to close the gap in relation to the existing didactic material for their learning.
